To be fair, the last time we saw it was in a game where he threw 60 pitches or so, he'd only thrown 30 when he came out to start this inning.

 

With the guy on...someone else should be pitching.

why isnt Hermanson being used?

I feel sorry for Shingo. What a crappy position to be put in when you haven't pitched in awhile. At least let him start the inning and try to do it on his own.

Problem is logan and inge are not easy to double up. Anything with less than one bounce and we will not get a double play ( most likely).

Next time anyone feels the urge to type "swinging for the fences", do Soxtalk a favor and delete your post. We've all heard it before and you'd be saving us a ton of bandwidth.

They'll use him if they have the lead, or the game goes 17 innings and they absolutely must use him.

If you think that this particular offense is going to be able to perform at the high level that you seem to think they will, then you're just as delusional as anyone here who's supposedly a bad fan for saying Frank sucks right now, etc.

That's garbage if he is gonna be like that. He is our best pitcher available, you have to use him. The reason he has been shaky lately is probably cuz he isn't getting consistent work.

Hermanson can actually roll a DP.

No one is arguing teh facts Prep. But thing is, our pitching and defense have given us every chance to win this game, and this bulls*** approach to the plate that our hitters have right now WILL be the reason we lose.

I wouldnt be so sure of a DP Logan is pretty fast.
