No arguement here. That is why I wanted this game bad cuz I knew they would lose next week in Lansing.

I CANNOT WAIT!

Sour Grapes, thy name is Illini.

Good gains from a 5th string RB? -- He averaged 2.4 yards per carry on the season, and finished with something like 250 yards on the season.

New quarterback? -- Brad Banks was the #1 JuCo QB recruit in 2000. He sat on the bench in '01 learned the system (Protect the ball, make mistakes with your feet not your arm) and in 2002 was ready to become the big 10's best QB. Ken O'Keefe opened up the playbook to include option and lots of designed QB runs. He tailored the offense to his talent. -- Nathan Chandler was the #1 JuCo QB recruit in 2001. He lead the nation in passing. He sat on the bench in '02 learned the system (Protect the ball, make mistakes with your feet not your arm) and in 2003 was ready to be a servicable Big 10 QB. Thanks to a great offensive line he was rarely pressured and had one of the nations top running games. Ken O'Keefe trimmed the playbook to mostly a running, play action passing, and short pass game. He never gave too much for Chandler to handle. He tailored the offense to his talent. -- Drew Tate was a top 15 QB prospect in 2002. He set the national records for passing in HS. He sat on the bench in 2003, learned the system (Protect the ball, make mistakes with your feet, not your arm) and was Iowa's best option at QB for 2004. He struggled early as RB after RB was sidelined for the season, but as the season progressed the Iowa offensive coordinator Ken O'Keefe learned what the kid could do, and built an offense that played to his stregths. He tailored the offense to his talent. -- This all sounds like 1) good recruiting and 2) great coaching. -- I know the latter has severely lacking in Champaign since well forever.

Miraculous last second victory in the Cap One Bowl. -- Iowa trailed for 45 seconds..... THE ENTIRE GAME!

Meh, s***ty article, not going to argue it...just give us our ass whooping and we'll be on our way to IU.

Iowa certainly isn't as dominant as they have been the past few years, but it should be more than enough to pound us around for 4 quarters.

Imagine the heat on Carr after Michigan loses this weekend. Hope he resigns.

Wiscy up on IU 31-17 at the half. That's respectable.

I'd say we played better than iowa in the first half. A few long drives capped by complete brain cramps.

We had our chance, didn't come through.

And Reda sucks

Iowa pulled away in the 2nd half though.

Interesting game going on up in Michigan. Michigan just took a touchdown lead in the 4th quarter after MSU had battled back.

and MSU with the most hilarious fumble return of all time.

OH MY GOD WOW

27 f***ing yards.....................................

Michigan sucks at life. You don't deserve this one anymore.

BTW Indiana loses 41-24.

If Michigan scores it's over.

That was ugly by MSU

I am thrilled that I get to watch Penn State vs. Minnesota over USC/ASU

Yawn...Wolverines over the Spartans. What else is new?

Seriously, didn't get to watch cuz I was at work and had to watch in on ESPN Game thingy.

Mike Hart is back, baby!!!

Just saw the replay, awful job on the Henne "fumble". Clearly going forward. $10 if it is at The Big House, it is reversed. Oh well, all worked out in the end.

UNC gets a nice win over Utah 31-17 to pull to 2-2 on the year. Only losses were two tough ones to Wisconsin and Georgia Tech, had a real chance to be 4-0 if the offense had shown up in their first two. Up next at Louisville.

Asu taking it to USC so far, 21-3. Anyone else see that cheap shot on Leinart?

We get to watch Penn State blow out Minn here

USC seemed down and out at halftime. Helluva turn around after halftime, I would say...again.

They dont try in the first half.

They dont try in the first half.

they probably gave up that punt return for a TD because they have only punted 4 times this season coming into this game.

Hey heads! How did iowa state do today?

Goddamn Meyer, he's regressed. We didn't deserve to win today. This is why I hate being an ISU fan sometimes. A redshirt frosh watched with me and said that he thinks Meyer is overrated also. On a bright note, both Flynn and Sumrall had breakout games.

Has anyone noticed that Notre Dame is 4-1? Anyone notice that all four of those wins were on the road? If they can figure out how to win at home they will be dangerous. Their next five games are all at home.
