Probably upset that Blum hit that ball hard, but right at the pitcher.

Well I can tell you why he did it. I don't agree with it, but I can tell you why.

 

If he pinch hits a lefty, Walker comes in which just kills us. So he brings in a switch hitter so they have to stay with Spurling.

 

Thats the logic of it.

And its still Blum hitting. Go to AJ or Gload if they bring in the lefty you have Anderson

Well I totally disagree with that, how can you not pinch hit Pierzynski there for Widger.  That is totally f***ing stupid, unless he's afraid they'll bring in Walker to face him again. 

 

Either way, I would have taken my chances giving Pierzynski another shot vs. the lefthander.

 

Completely disagree with that decision.

Still, you worried about a pinch hitter, Bring in Gload, or Bring in AJ. He goes to walker, go back to the bench and bring in Anderson.

 

Just don't go with Blum.

It ain't 2nd guessing. I don't mean to speak for ya Jim and I'm sure you'll respond.

 

But neither of us are exactly known as second guessers. I'm sure he was shaking his head watching the tv just as I was as well as many others.

 

I was calling for a pinch hitter, either AJ or Gload. I could see not bringing in AJ because they didn't want to waste a pitcher, assuming that Walker would come in (I'm assuming Walker was up in the pen)...however at the very least I'd of brought in Gload or AJ let them bring in the lefty and than countered by bringing in Brian Anderson to PH.

I didn't want to resort to this but our season wil be decided in Cleveland. Even if the Indians lose today. What a joke. This is no time to go on a slump.
