Get the bullpen ready, cause Garland hasn't shown an ounce of toughness so far tonight.

You're absolutely right. I mean, it's not like we still have six more innings of play or anything.

alright, i hate the media talk to...

but where is the talk of US taking advantage of four outs in an inning when we get em???

I thought we would need at least four runs to win this one, still no problem. I'm not worried.

When will we see Duque?

How the hell do you determine toughness from a pitcher?

Are you tough if you don't give up runs? Are you tough if you get lucky and the batter hits it right at a fielder?

What exactly establishes toughness in a pitcher, and how the hell do you judge it?

I'm not giving up, but the odds aren't good

I've changed my tone, and that was PK's fault. Look at the replays. He gave Uribe no angle to throw that ball.

can i say i don't like this umpire not giving the outside corner?

:huh

i guess when we get 4 outs it's dumb luck/cheating and for everyone else it's good, clean baseball

Garland is probably not done getting beat all over Minute Maid Park like Craig Biggio's wife.

Getting out of jams after a bad play extends an inning.

I think we've all seen a lot of the good and the bad Garland this season. When he's gone out and showed some balls, you could seem him buckle down in big situations and not just throw poor pitch after poor pitch. We're lucky Ensberg didn't end this game in the 3rd inning. His sinker is extremely flat, and like I mentioned earlier, our starters aren't coming close to keeping their hitters off-balanced.

I hate scooter

BTW we will score one here.

I love short innings!

We all said the same thing Sunday night when the Astros took a two run lead. Anything can happen.

Two down... :headshake
