March 2, 200620 yr Who wants to be that somehow he'll fit right in on the Suns and turn into another version of Diaw?
March 2, 200620 yr Author Who wants to be that somehow he'll fit right in on the Suns and turn into another version of Diaw? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does Diaw make a few shots, not rebound, and play zero defense? If so, yes.
March 2, 200620 yr QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 06:33 PM) Does Diaw make a few shots, not rebound, and play zero defense? If so, yes. Diaw actually does it all. He was originally a SG and they have him starting at C IIRC. He's a real nice player. Anyway Thomas will fit in right with the Suns. I rather have kept him though and let him rot. He still gets his cash from the Bulls as long as he goest west, plus the cash he's going to get from the Suns and is going to be playing in the playoffs this year. March 2, 200620 yr QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 05:00 PM) It took this long to do it? They were trying to keep him from going to an Eastern conference club, so they had to wait until he struck a deal with someone in the West.
March 2, 200620 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 2, 2006 -> 11:29 AM) Who wants to be that somehow he'll fit right in on the Suns and turn into another version of Diaw? Wouldn't suprise me at all. Mike D'Antoni can get anybody to fit into their system, so long as they can shoot and can play in an uptempo style of play. And this is a chance for Thomas to prove to Paxson and Chicago that he can actually contribute.
March 2, 200620 yr TT is an awesome fit (his talents) in the Suns system. Doesn't mean he'll pan out, but they are a ver unselfish bunch (TT may not be, but he'll still benefit from being around that).
March 2, 200620 yr Steve Nash will help Thomas get a lot of open shots and make him look pretty decent.
March 2, 200620 yr I don't understand why he and Davis had to be included to make the Curry deal work. Both are making 14M this year and have expiring contracts. The Bulls should've just kept him. They make him miserable, prevent him from hurting them, and they get some extra dough to spend this summer.
March 2, 200620 yr QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 11:20 PM) I don't understand why he and Davis had to be included to make the Curry deal work. Both are making 14M this year and have expiring contracts. The Bulls should've just kept him. They make him miserable, prevent him from hurting them, and they get some extra dough to spend this summer. I've wondered that also - Paxson is always saying that this was the deal that had to be made. Only explanation is that the Knicks 1) knew that Thomas was a jag and/or 2) demanded Davis be part of the deal
March 2, 200620 yr About time he can play for Suns but not crappy ass Bulls this whole thing was a mess from day 1.
March 3, 200620 yr QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) And this is a chance for Thomas to prove to Paxson and Chicago that he can actually contribute. That's not the question.
March 4, 200620 yr QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 3, 2006 -> 08:05 PM) Thomas has got 20 points in his 1st game for Phoenix thus far. And the Knicks have fallen Behind Charlotte for the worst record in the league.

March 5, 200620 yr QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 4, 2006 -> 03:52 PM) LeMarcus Aldridge. LaMarcus. A instead of E.
March 5, 200620 yr Sigh. If only high schoolers could go pro right away, then it'd be Greg Oden. :banghead
