Ouch, McCarthy just gave up a 3-run bomb to the bum Mientkiewicz after issuing two walks. 5-5 tie.

Yeah what the hell is going on? Everytime we have a lead in a game, our bullpen gives it up no matter how many runs are we leading. Hope this doesnt continue in the season.

im unimpressed with mccarthy aswell.

If he carries this into regular season, then damn. I mean atleast most of our startes have has some shinning points in ST so far, every time I've seen McCarthy he's been hit pretty damn well.

Yes I can. I'm watching his pitches and how he goes about the business of getting hitters out, independent of results.

 

He looked much better than the other two LOOGY candidates.

Still did fairly well, but he appeared to lose his pinpoint control. Probably the situation--runners on base, tie game--which tightened him up on the mound.
