It infuriates me that Sweeney does this to us ALL OF THE f***ING TIME. I swear to God, that guy is responsible for 95% of the Royals' wins against us. When he comes up to bat, I just assume he's going to homer. That is f***ing ridiculous.

It was a slider/change down and away. What would you propose he do? Walk him?Grudz got a bloop hit on a good pitch and Sweeney hit a HR on a ball low and away.

You dont throw the Sweeney with the game on the line.  How many years has he been in the league.  How many times has he done this.  Maybe someone else beat you.

They should just walk Sweeny in late game situations for the rest of the year, I'm sick of seeing him kill us every year

How many homers does Sweeney have against the Sox in his lifetime? How many career homers does he have?

 

I bet about a quarter of his HR's are against us.

I think it's safe to say Cliff won't be having the year he had last year.

Sweeney could just as easily have homered off of Politte's B- fastball trying to challenge him inside. That is one of the few certainties in this universe.
