I will take the singles and doubles .300+ hitting AJP over the homer happy AJP of last season.

Garland has got to keep his change down in the zone.

He had a bunch of barely-HRs at Comiskey last year -- Ones that would be doubles in most parks, and certainly his old home parks -- His doubles were also down.

 

He entered last season hitting a HR on about 7% of his Flyballs. In 2005, he doubled that to 14% of his flyballs going for HRs.

 

He's not a HR hitter at all. 10-14 is all we should expect.

Yes he's looked fine, much to my surprise. I guess they've had him out there working out.

We are playing the Royals, but it is a step up from his last outing against this lowly bunch.
