He nutted up and made a nice pitch. Ozzie will keep him out there to start the 5th.

Chances of Javy starting the 5th?

Wow. We lucked out.

That was a Haeger-esque performance. Walking three and allowing none.

Good lord that was a train wreck that didnt happen.

AJ had to basically convince him to throw a pitch there. He gives the sign, makes 2 pist pumps to get him to throw it, Javy then throws it. Maybe Javy should stop thinking and just hit the target.

Stiff, inconsistent umpire + rain delay + typical yankee/Red Sox lineup that would rather run up a pitch count than score a run = 1 AM finish at the earliest.

Good night! Hopefully Cotts doesn't blow it. :pray

fairly high, seeing ozzie didn't bring in a lefty to pitch to Giambi

Fish you, you fishing goofs...

He'll probably start and will get pulled if anyone reaches.

For everyone wanting Cotts, I offer this suggestion. Against a guy with a great eye like Giambi, Cotts is either a walk, HBP, or homer waiting to happen.

Javy will be out for 5th...it would help if we gave him one or two more runs

unfortunatly you are probably right

Javy's line so far tonight:

4 IP, 5 hits, 2 runs, 6 walks, 6 k's, 94 pitches.

Haeger would throw 100 pitches in 2 innings vs this Yanks team.

Cotts got possessed by the Marte demon.

If you think Vazquez won't start the 5th, then you don't know Ozzie.

:bang

Did Berman just call Javy...."Little girl with a curl..."?!?!?

or was I hearin s***? Bad enough I had to have the Red Sox asslickin' session this past inning.

So, if Anderson turns in to Mr. April/May again, what are we going to do?

Brian just plain looks bad the past couple of days.

SWING.
