The future of this franchise will be having at-bats this inning, minus Juanny.

And predictably, both failed.

Sweeney striking out looking for his first AB certaintly doesn't surprise me. If he actually reached base I would have damn near collapsed. Impossible to expect immediate success from our prospects. For every MIguel Olivo there's 10 others -- pitchers included -- who can't seem to start off hot. Always have to work their way up from the cellar.

Preach On!, and welcome aboard :cheers

woah...if only vazquez didnt hang that thing 4 outa 5 times thrown...that last one was nasty

Vazquez is approximately 30 pitches from reaching the critical point (i.e. the 75 pitch mark). That should get us through 4 innings.

eek, o well come Vazquez.

Vazquez is getting upset with the umpire. Trouble is lurking.

pitch over it Javy.

Walking Loretta to get to Ortiz is not what I would call smart.

Walking Loretta to get to Ortiz. Smart.

Woo!!!! Javy making me a believer.

booyah!!!! in your face ortiz!

Nice job Javy.

phew.

Good job by Vazquez not to give up runs after getting pissed off.

Maybe we're counting on Ortiz being rusty?

This game has last night's feel.

Good idea to walk Loretta to pitch to that .285 hitter. :)

God this guy can look so good sometimes...

But unfortunately we know what's coming. Maybe the rain will hit in the 5th. Vazquez goes 5 the Sox somehow score a run and thats a victory.

double..go OZUNA!

I'm sick of the White Sox hitters making bums look like CY fooking Young.

Get it together!

You know he can be lights out for 5-6innings, and we have the least used BP in the bigs, If Haeger is in the rotation next year i really think it would work out great for the team, seeing how he could save a BP, and have Tracey in there.

Lets get this run in Joe.

C'mon Joe, let's get this run in. and then we'll worry about giving it back later.

well that will suffice.

On one hand, I hate playing for one run against Boston at Fenway with Vazquez pitching, but with our offense right now each run is huge.
