White Sox v. Angels, 9/11, Gamethread

Featured Replies

Let's take the first game of the series. Screw the Angels.

(Admins, Mods: I made this earlier than tomorrow because I wanted to make this game thread, and I wanted to scope it out early. Like a Star Wars nerd. :) I hope you don't object.)

Oh my, good catch. :(

sox vs. indians lol.

anyways this isn't the best time to go to the west coast, but we need to prove we can win there eventually

I'll be there, hopefully getting the Sox back on the right track!!!

We need help!!! :gosox1: :gosox1:

It would be nice to put together a good win streak starting tomorrow.

Anyway, lets grab the W tomorrow and start off on the right foot. Give us a good game sox, pitching, defense, and offense.

Go get em! :gosox1:

The RallyGage is born?

I'm making the drive to Anaheim tomorrow, I need some White Sox baseball.

Any tips on the park, tickets, traffic or the area in general?

I'll be there Tuesday and Wednesday with my brother.

My attendance record at Angel Stadium stands at 4-0.

I got a bad feeling that come next Monday the 2006 Chicago White Sox will be all but eliminated. I would so love it if they proved me wrong.

Let's see....We're playing the Angels who have their backs against the wall and are fighting for their playoff lives. Minnesota plays Oakland who have a cushy 5.5 game lead on the Angels. Detroit plays Texas who are basically out of contention and already playing their farm call-ups for next year. If the Sox don't come through in these six games, it really is over.

Oakland has plenty of motivation. Its called not having to face Santana and Liriano in the first round.

What's the lineup?

If Podsednik is leading off and Anderson isn't in, I'm going to ask for my money back.

I'll pretty much guarantee that Pods is leading off, and Sweeney is playing in CF. With how crappy Anderson has looked recently, I can't say that I blame Ozzie.

Gage's Rally Beard?

Nah, I'm corporate now, which means I'm cleanly shaven every day starting today. The sweet thing is it was a short day so I'm heading to the game in like 15 minutes.

Are you kidding me? Did you see the swings he's been taking the last few games? Anderson hasn't a phawking clue. He's an automatic out. We need every opportunity to score runs. Anderson is a hindrance not a benefit.

Well, Anderson isn't playing. However, it's not Sweeney in CF. Mackowiak is playing CF tonight and batting 8th. You're an idiot Ozzie!
