Just thought of this. So far in this short season, Danks is the 2006 version of Vazquez. Pitched some good games but can't get any damn run support.

That's the August/September version of Vazquez, he got more run support than any other pitcher in baseball in the first 4 months of the season last year and absolutely nothing for his run at the end of the year.

Every one of our starters are the 2006 Vazquez by that definition.

And one wonders how the Kason Gabbards of the world shut down our vaunted offense last year.

I love it how our hitters just look as nothing fastballs are thrown right down the middle, and when they do swing, they "just miss it"
