White Sox vs. Royals, 5/11/07 (W)

Nice time for good defensive positioning. No matter how tough of an out Grudz is, you couldn't let Teahen get up as the go-ahead run.

As awful as the offense has been, the defense and pitching have been pretty dam good so far this year. :drink

The drooling over the opposing pitcher has begun from Hawk.

No, Hawk -- if Odalis Perez is in your rotation, you probably suck.

What a f***ing pathetic performance from the offense.

They simply can't get hits against LHP. Our average hit total against lefty starters must be around 4.

Broken bat #125754 of the season.

Don't worry, it's sort of cold out tonight. The bats will heat up as it gets warmer.

Funny how the bottom two hitters in our lineup have the best approach against this guy tonight. Iguchi has looked okay, too -- and I guess AJ has been good.

In all his twisted logic, has Ozzie given consideration to batting Uribe third since he is among our hottest hitters?

I actually have liked Terrero's approach at the plate

Erstad up? Time to give that second baseman some work.

84 pitches to start the 8th, Ozzie needs to find a way to get Mcdougal in this game!

/tips cap at Perez

He's not just a pitcher in the big leagues. He's a big league pitcher.

You know he is not just a pitcher, but a big league pitcher who pitches well. /Hawkgetsoffhisownknobb

We should of rocked this guy back to the stone age.

Jermaine Dye needs new contacts or something. When you miss straight meatball down the cock you need to stop tipping your cap, and start to hit.

Ass flailing, foot in bucket swing there, Dye...

Did Hawk just say he saw three straight breaking balls and then a fastball? Looked to me like those first two pitches were fastball strikes (the first one right down the middle). All were straight fastballs too, not much movement.

Remember the numbers on the back of the card don't lie /Greg Walker

Turns Paul Konerkos card, ha look 2003 .234. How can he have hit .234 in the middle of hitting good all his career. How does that happen.

Peralta has the flattest slider that I have seen taken for a strike.

Make contact Paully. To the right side would be great.

That's the worst slide in baseball history.

Nice block of the plate by Buck.

I just saw the worst slide of my life. All he had to do is a simple hook slide, and he's safe.

Eh....ok DONT GoGo Pablo!!

wow.

How did the Tigers figure out the trick to beating Santana?

It's kind of weird to cheer for Santana and Twins to beat the Tigers at home...

That sucks...Ozuna gets thrown out 5% of the time on that play.

Edited by caulfield12

Christ, Buck blocked the basepath about four feet up the line.

Pablo should have ran his ass over.

Wow. Did Pablo slow up because he thought the ball wasnt being thrown?

That was the dumbest slide attempt I have seen a sox player in a long time. Wow. You try to sneak your foot in where the catchers foot is. Whoopsie, the catcher was up the line a bit. The plate was 3 feet on the other side.

I was going to get very angry over the crappy slide but I see you all have it taken care of.
