anybody have Little Big Planet?

Just ordered it along with an 80gb PS3.

for all of you that have had to send in your xbox for service:

 

how long was the turn around?

I've got a buddy who got it back in 2 weeks.

 

I've had mine for about a year now, still no issues. However, when I do have an issue, the $$ spent at Best Buy for the warranty will be worth it, because I can just go in there and they'll hand me a brand new system immediately.

you won't regret it. offline the game is superb.....utterly superb. Then throw in the fact that you can creat your own levels, objects, or enemys, with their own themes.....and publish it and play it online with three other sackboys. Games don't get much more fun than Little Big Planet. One of the top games i've ever played.

It's a 3 year warranty not yet 1 year in... if that bad boy hasn't busted on me by then, I'll take it in anyway.

Looks amazing. I watched a couple youtube videos of game demos.

 

Next game will be MGS4. Might have to wait until after the holidays.

MGS4 might be my favorite game. 2 winning selections there.

I played Resistance 2 and it was pretty fun. Next is Fallout 3. One of these 2 will be my next video game purchase. Does anyone know how long (hours) are the campaigns to these games. I find it hard to go back to a game I have beaten. For some reason I just lose interest after completing the story. I am not big on unlocking extra stuff.

My buddy beat Resistance 2 in a day and a half and hes a f***ing idiot.So iam thinkin that game is way too easy.

If it's like R1, then there is a HUGE difference in difficulty level. If you beat R1 on expert you are a video game king.

I rented Spiderman: Web of Shadows. I like the feel to the game, its pretty dark.

For those of you thinking about buying Fallout 3 because of what has been said about it in this thread, don't. Its garbage.

 

If all you care about is a wasteland looking pretty, by all means spend the 60+ to get it. If you like gameplay and actual stuff like that, its a piece of s*** and your money would be better spent elsewhere (Call of Duty: WaW)

Fall Out 3 is the 47th best game ever on Gamerankings....Can't be that bad. I want CODWAW really bad though, even though COD3 was pretty bad. My holiday wish list in order:

 

1. Resistance 2

2. CODWAW

3. Fall Out 3

4. Little Big Planet

5. BioShock

6. Dead Space

 

Lot of PS3 games. Not so much on the Wii side.

Fall Out 3 is the 47th best game ever on Gamerankings....Can't be that bad. I want CODWAW really bad though, even though COD3 was pretty bad.

 

A couple things..

 

1. Fall Out 3 is all about looks, the fighting engine is crap and its slow and clunky with the aiming system. Actual gameplay, its not that great of a game. Everyone just loves the way it looks, and I dont think that should be the main reason to get a game especially when you are spending like $65 on it.

 

2. COD3 was pathetic, im assuming you never played Call of Duty 4 which was incredible. Call of Duty 5 is great, the campaign was fun and the online play is fun as hell. That game has a lot of replay value with the Nazi Zombie mode and the online play. It would be a great buy.

The makers of COD3 made this one, and no they did not do COD4, which is why I'm weary of it. Even the studio was worried about hence why they didn't number it as part of the official series.

And as someone who has Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty 5 I am telling you that they play the exact same. Its made with the exact same engine, the controls are the same. There is zero difference in the style of play from 4 to 5. I, much like a lot of other people, were extremely pleased with the way it came out after being worried it was gonna be another COD3, but its not at all.

 

Of course, its only worth it if you are gonna play online since thats where all the replay value is.

Read some reviews though. WaW is getting incredible reviews.

Anyone still play WoW? I'm a casual fan, mainly because I didn't care for the Burning Crusade expansion pack, but that's about to change. I went and got the new one (Wrath of the Lich King) and I gotta say I'm very impressed with the new areas. It's much more "WoW-like" - old medival style castles/keeps, big mountains and trees, viking looking dudes with long hair and battle axes. So far so good.

I just watched the video review of it on IGN and it looks incredible. I recommend checking out the video review.

If you like the Elder Scrolls games by Bethesda, you'll probably like Fallout. There's plenty of game play and story in this game.

Gears of War 2 is awesome and I am really enjoying Fable 2.

I just started playing again. I've never gotten above level 30, so I'm just trying to get to the point where I can enjoy the expansion.
