The more and more I see those FrankTV commercials on TBS I want to see that show, Caliendo is hilarious although Im not too sure how he will transition to a sitcom.

Agreed. And despite seeing the commercial about 400 times, I still have no idea what the show even is. Is he just going to dress up as various celebrities for the entire show?

anyone see that pushing daisies show on abc? it looked interesting but i forgot to watch it last week. wondering if it was any good?

Finally watched Friday Night Lights premiere online. What didn't you guys like about it? I thought it was good. I like how things past after the title game now back to beginning of the next season.

Kitchen Nightmares is a fun little show. I really love it when the people on the show finally realize he isn't a jerk, he's just extremely passionate about the line of work, and a perfectionist. As soon as they start doing the job properly, he becomes a nice guy.

 

My sattelite went out on Tuesday, so I've missed an entire week of shows. Pisses me off.

 

Is it wrong to actually find some humor in 2 And A Half Men. I laugh from time to time, and I know I shouldn't. But, sometimes it's pretty risque, and I really get taken by surprise.

It is definitely low brow guy humor. Doesn't mean it is not funny. Those people need to freakin relax!

The commercials are horrible. I think that guy has good standup but the actual commercials...terrible. THey don't even tell you anything about the show, nor are they entertaining. Plus I dont' think he's the type of person meant for TV.

Nah I don't worry about what people think really, but as I sit there talking to people and they suddenly start railing on and on about how only mentally handicapped monkey's on crack could like that show. Then when those 3 people turn into many, many people, I start to wonder how much I really do have in common with those monkeys.

Exactly my thoughts. Obviously they're trying to make it edgier to see if the ratings improve, but it got away from the fun of the show.

I liked Back to You and Kitchen Nightmares on FOX. Also, loving the Sarah Silverman Program.

 

Eagerly awaiting I Love New York 2 for some reason, and the Salt N Pepa Show and Project Runway.

 

Morning radio broke me of good TV. Just bad reality fare for me thank you.

 

I've tried to watch Silverman a couple of times, and just cannot make it through a segment. Sometimes being outrageous just isn't funny, and to me, this is one of those times.

It was pretty interesting, but I really don't know what to think of it yet. I thought that it was pretty fun, and it could be a very good show. But, I am waiting to see where they go with it.

The premise sounds interesting, but I haven't sat down and watched it yet.

 

Two more shows that have gotten off to good starts this season are House and Bones on Fox.

I had no idea what you guys were talking about with this Frank TV stuff. Then I got my satellite feed back and was finally able to see those commercials. All I know is that I think the Jim Belushi fans will finally have their late-night TV show. Same crowd who love Belushi will find that guy.
