Who is Pierre Chang? Also at first I thought the episode was kind of a waste but I am liking the island flashback to get to know what has been going on there.

 

One question, what happened to Bernanrd and the rest of the gang that is the part that I hate that they just disregard.

 

Also how come Walt doesn't have to come back as well as Michael for all to be well with the island again? Is it because Ben let them leave?

I read an article before the season that the show has a guy whose only job is to keep track of everyone's meetings, island locations, etc...everything. To acoid continuity errors.

 

Everyone has a role on the island. It was Michael's "destiny" to help save everyone on the freighter(at least those that made it off). Once he did that, he could die.

 

What about Walt? Walt had special "powers" that were never really addressed.

they've basically had the entire story arch planned out since season one. specifics have been developed over time.

After watching the episode again, i see hints that the nose bleeds could be happening to people who originate from the island or have been there over a longer period of time. Watch the exchange between Miles and Faraday when Miles tells him of the nosebleed, if you can.

i think in time it will happen to all of them. but those with the most island experience get them first.

Has anyone come up with some ideas about why they titled the episode "The Little Prince"?

 

My first reaction was it was in reference to this book http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Little_Prince.

 

I am now starting to wonder if it was a reference to Aaron.

I think at this point Lindelof and Cuse have everything laid out. I'd say they've had it since roughly around the middle of season 3, when the show started firing on all cylinders.

Well either that or it's those people who have been on the island for longer are more susceptible (Daniel is fine because he found his constant).

 

Maybe Sawyer found his constant in Kate (who re-appeared on the island for that little bit) and he just doesn't realize it.

Desmond is Daniel's constant. hence why desmond has to go back.

what about the folks from the freighter that got the same thing?

 

I think the people who have been there the least are getting the nosebleeds. Juliet and Daniel are the two with the most island time and both do not have the issue.
