I dont' think you act like a tough guy with a bum ankle...you can either support yourself or not.

A guy who just got called up from AAA, he's pretty motivated to perform.

No matter, he made a good pitch, bunt got down, now Logan coming in.

where was the infield playing for Gomez? he has 2 walks and 25 Ks, Ozzie should have had them playing so close they could tell you what brand of gum he is chewing

wouldnt have mattered...im sure crede was up at the corner....brooks robinson doesnt get him out there...it was just a perfect bunt

Well at least the Angels have a crappy player on the field once every 5 days. Cabrera is out there every day for us.

Angels win that trade. When that trade was first made it made no sense to me.

Absolutely not. He must have naked pictures of official scorers, as he could easily have 5 or 6 errors this season. He's has some costly misplays as well. Name me one thing he does on D that's above average?

I'm hoping we haven't seen it yet.

He has very good outside range into the outfield, he's got good balance on tough throws, he's OK with normal ball handling, he can turn a double play well. His arm is a bit weak, and his range horizontally is less than stellar. He handles short-hit balls well though.

Gomez is gonna be a stud in this league. He is hardly a flea type player.

But I dont mean just him. Joey Gathright, Brendan Harris, etc. all these 170lb. light hitting, quick feet guys murder the White Sox.

IMO that has been a huge problem for him this year...other stuff is about right...i wouldnt say hes horrible at SS, but he certainly hasnt been GG calibur...

I thought he's been terrible on the slow hit ball. Not only does his weak arm make the plays more difficult, but he's had a few plays where he double pumped or flat out missed the ball.

Not GG no, like I said, he's not as good as Juan either. But to say he's TERRIBLE is just way off, IMO.

excuse me?

As a former leadoff hitter myself and base stealer, I can verify it *is* easier to steal 3rd...it's just something modern day players don't do well.

You have a better view of the catcher, the pitcher has a harder time looking at you and making a quick pickoff move, giving you a larger lead off, and if the catcher sets up inside against a righty, it eases it even more.

I've noticed the double pumps, more on balls in the SS/3B hole though.
