What the heck is going on with Mellville. At this point I wonder if he doesn't slide a few more rounds (as teams will likely have to go well over slot to ink him (since I'm sure he'll still be asking for 1st round money). Bottom line, if he doesn't go early in the 2nd, you may see him free fall.

I wonder if there was a late rumor that he was going to go the college route (or if he had ridiculous demands).

He sent a letter to every MLB team letting them know he would only sign for top 15 pick money. He intends to attend UNC.

Cutter Dykstra - OF - Westlake HS goes to the Brewers from the Sox as compensation for the Linebrink signing.

Lenny's kid. The other Dykstra that went earlier is not related.

I can't believe Lenny named his son Cutter.

Lenny used to hang with Frank Zappa and Eddie Van Halen, who named their sons Dweezil and Wolfgang. Cutter played bass with those guys. :headbang

LOL, who's this scrub? Everyone dig up scouting reports while I lazily await them.

Brent L. Morel (July 26, 1976- April 7, 2004) was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps who was awarded the Navy Cross posthumously for his service during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Wait that can't be right.
