Crede is very skilled at flipping the bat out on the ball and going up the middle/rf. He's done that numerous times when he's been healthy the past couple seasons. Well I shouldn't say very skilled, but he's pretty solid at it (Frank was amazing at it in his prime).

Wouldn't you say that was his 2 strike swing? Tonight, he's been doing that on the first pitch and forward.

His ERA would be 2.45 if the official scorer was at all competent.

In retrospect, I think the McCarthy trade was such a shock to us.

Thome's bat speed is gone. He is done. He is the worst hitter in baseball.

When you've been doing what Joe has been doing (which is pulling his hands through the zone way to quickly and thus making him an easy out with anything middle and away) the quickest way to getting back on track is to stay back on the ball and just work it to right field. I'm thrilled to see him doing what he is doing because it means we are about to see a very good stretch out of Joe.

No, I got rid of it a month ago. It was difficult to keep track of, as I would have to look up that stat on my own. Also, OC and Thome were playing well, so I figured my pep talk worked.

Jimmy is good for the HR that just about puts the game out of reach. I love those.

I like the Jim Thome we've seen as of late. He's using all fields and making me look like an idiot (keep on doing it Jimmy, keep on doing it).
