Javy is getting his stuff back.

My White Sox player of the game is Gio Gonzalez. The one from last year that was so good he was traded and allowed us to right all that ailed us for one day.

What an easy game to watch.

We would easily be better with gio this year than without him, hell ryan sweeney too.

I wish we swept, but I'll take 2 out of 3 in Oakland any day!

Nice to see that CQ isn't showing any lingering effects from getting plunked on five consecutive days.

Next three game are huge before Twins start the famous 14 game road trip.

Mariners @ White Sox

Washburn - Buehrle

Hernandez - TBD

Silva - Floyd

A's @ Twins

Duchscherer - Blackburn

Gallagher - Slowey

TBD - Liriano

I will take 2 of 3 at Oakland anytime! :gosoxretro:

Great game all around. I really hope Vazquez keeps up this streak. It'd be absolutely huge.

This week in White Sox Retribution brought to you by Dick Allen's unwavering support :D

Seriously, everyone who Dick defended earlier this year are making a good portion of us look dumb and impatient(myself included). Konerko seems to have found his stroke, Uribe is an amazing asset at third, the team looks like they are finally rebounding from a slow start out of the gate after the All Star game.

2 out of 3 aint bad, but it is kind of disappointing considering they could have swept. Time to do to the Mariners what the Twins did to them.

More than anything, I'm thrilled we rocked Gio so I don't have to hear everyone say how we should have kept the next Sandy Koufax.

Quentin looks like he is taking his game up a notch. the closer the Twins have gotten to the Sox, the more Quentin mashes. The guy is simply unreal this year. TCQ

Winning 2 out of 3 in Oakland has been great. Keep it up when we get home. 70 wins and having 10 over the Tigers is nice. Now we can fight it out with the Twinks the rest of the way.

I Think Clayton Richard is going to have a huge impact for the Sox down the stretch (throwing out of the pen).

Richard does seem more of a pen guy than a starter.... i guess anything is better than what Boone was doing for us. Whats the latest with the 5th starter? Broadway was sent back down?

What a great win! :gosoxretro:

Keep it goin' back at home boys!

wurd upp

It's good to see Javy put a couple of strong starts together. If he's back on track, it can be huge for the Sox down the stretch.

Wasn't it just nice to enjoy a game without using 50 expletives watching it and just relaxing????

Javy seems to have found a nice rythm. We'll need him badly down the stretch.

I think i read in the recap this is our first series win in Oakland in 7 or 8 years

I think we won a few series there in the last couple of years.

I know its the first time they won consecutive games there since 2000. Honestly the only time I can remember the Sox coming close to taking a series was in 2005 when they had that crazy series where a bunch of people were ejected and Dye ended up playing shortstop.
