Mostly because they suck at it.

Shut the hell up Hawk. 0-9 with RISP, we're just asking for trouble.

in another year Lexi will be a stud getting the bunt down. I honestly think this guy could contend for an mvp someday.

And because it sucks at producing more than one run.

Bottom 9th, one to win? sure. Any other situation and you're just giving up potential multiple runs to get a slightly better chance of getting 1 in.

At some point, a light bulb will go off on Ozzie when it comes to our inability to bunt. A man on second can be driven in with a single. Yet we keep trying to smash that square peg in that round hole.

tribe 4 twinkies 2,man if we can hold on tonite and the tribe do us the favor,we ll be up 3 1/2 games up,that ll be HUGE.

claytOWN is brining it

Especially when you have the lead...go for the kill.

I'm actually ok with that walk, Hawk. Why mess with such a great hitter when you have a lefty-lefty matchup up next.

i'm scared to death of this game.

Wow PK!

Nice play by PK...might be time to pull Richard with Nady up, as he kills lefties.

Awesome grab.

Leadoff double and a struggling Alexei up and than Uribe (who has been hot, but is still not someone I can rely on). However, Juan is really good at getting someone in from 3rd with less than 2 outs in his career. Alexei is a great bunter. A 2 run lead is a s***load more than a 1 run lead.

Bottom line, in that circumstance the bunt made a hell of a lot of sense (it wasn't like you were asking a guy who can't bunt to bunt). Plus the Sox inability to bunt falls flatly on the coaching staff/players for not getting the practice in.

Shocker...Ben Sheets is injured

Wow...staying in...go get him kid.

Its been a while since we have had a 1-0 hold up for us.

Really, really wish MacDougal was in.
