Your College Stadium Desires...

Featured Replies

If you guys could go to any 5 college stadiums and chill out before the game or whatever and soak up the atmosphere, which 5 would you pick? I've already been to FSU.

Mine would be, in no order:

Penn State

USC

Oregon

LSU

Boise State

Never been to:

FLorida

Auburn

Texas

Oregon

LSU

Been to:

Wisco

OSU

Marshall

Purdue

Iowa

I've always heard Tennessee is a most to attend on game day.

Boise State

Why?

everyone must go to a notre dame game... unreal...

been to purdue, nd, and iu

want to:

alabama

usc

texas

lsu

tennesee

I've been to just about all of the famous, really good football venues here in the midwest, so keeping that in mind, my list would be:

1. LSU

2. Florida

3. Texas

4. Penn State

5. USC/Florida State tie

I've been to Miami (Orange Bowl), Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, obviously the 3 here in Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, and South Florida. So I'm very lucky, although there are more than the 6 I listed on my to do list that I'd like to go to.

Why?

Well for one, I've always kind of liked the team. And, I heard it's a fun place to see a game (the atmosphere is good, says a friend of mine), and of course I'd like to see the blue turf.

I want to go back to Oklahoma. That was unreal. I'm going to Nebraska in 9 days, so we'll see how that compares.

I've heard Ole Miss is spectacular for the Grove. I want to go to the Big House badly.

I second the Ole Miss desire. The big house...quietest big stadium you'll ever go to.

anywhere in the SEC, minus Vanderbilt.

Eye candy galore.

I went to FSU for a couple of years so I attended games there, Clemson, and the Orange Bowl.

rose bowl is atop the list. attending a rose bowl is on my bucket list.

a few others...

-death valley: night games and from what i've read one of the most raucous tailgate atmospheres.

-the swamp: not a huge fan of florida but i've always liked that stadium.

-l.a. coliseum: just a great and historic venue.

-happy valley: i got a thing for valleys.

LSU is definitely number one, just looks like a blast

The Swamp

Rose Bowl

Kyle Field

Army/Navy Game

Texas

Notre Dame

USC

Northwestern

Army - Navy

Ole Miss is amazing. Going to gameday is an experience I always look forward to. I went to last year's Ole Miss-Alabama game and it was one of the funnest weekends of my life. And Tennessee is awesome, but I guess I'm biased...

As for my Top 5 I would like to go to...

Southern Cal

Ohio State

Notre Dame (going next weekend to the Stanford game)

LSU

Texas

I haven't been to many just:

1. N.D.

2.Nebraska.

3.Michigan

4.Purdue

5.Indiana

6.Ball State

7.Northwestern

Iwould like to go to:

1 Ohio State

2. LSU

3.Tennesee

4.Auburn

4..Florida

6.USC

7.UCLA

8.Florida State

Me too!

:cheers

I've only been to two stadiums for regular season games. The Orange Bowl and Florida Field. Been to a good amount of Citrus/Capital One Bowls and HOF/Outback bowl.

My list

1. LSU night game

2. Home team in the Alabama/Auburn game.

3. ND

4. Texas AM

5. Wisconsin

Michigan is so bad, it's painful. 5 turnovers in the 1st half. Ugh

I've only been to Doak, NU and NIU for regular season games. I've been to Jacksonville twice now for neutral site games, and nothing will beat (for me) last years Bama/FSU game there. It set an attendance record there (more people than Georgia/Florida). It was great because the stadium was half and half, everyone was going against each other during the game. And after the game the Bama fans were pretty friendly (of course it helps that we won).

As far as places I want to go to for a game:

1.) Oregon

2.) Clemson

3.) Michigan

4.) LSU

5.) Bama

Tailgating at McAndrew Stadium was the best!
