Two scoreless frames in a row is way too much to ask.

If we're somehow within a run and into both bullpens, I'd take that situation in a heartbeat if you would've offered it to me earlier today. Honestly, I expected us to be down 4 or 5 at this point.

The reality is that the Sox are not a good hitting team. Simply look at the averages. They run into a pitch every now and then.

 

Average pitchers can easily overmatch them if they execute the scouting report. There is no pressure on the pitcher to change anything up.
