UCLA definitely keeps getting credit for the three straight final fours, when they havent do too much this year in a weak conference to deserve the high praise and rankings...

I'm all for rushing the court when you pull off a huge upset, but when you are ranked #17, and you beat #16, and you run on the court and act like that?? Act like you been there before, or I guess in Mizzou's case, at least act like you think you deserve to be there....

it hasn't been just a bad team the past two years, it's been a freaking shooting with our players every weeks, brawls at athena transfers etc. etc.

 

So yes, we are excited we are likely going to the tournament.

In my memory, I have only seen KU try to rush the court once, after the Texas game in 2005??. The 20 or so fans got booed faster than Ronnie Woo at Soxfest.

Gophers beat Indiana at home yesterday by 8 thanks to 22 points from Paul "I should be starting" Carter. I missed it due to work, but considering the fact that 8 people on the team were getting over food sickness I can't complain. A win is a win.

I hate these Duke/UNC games. Obviously, you guys hate them for all the publicity they get, and as a Duke fan, I agree to a certain degree but the nervousness that is right now up until tip-off is ridiculous.

Apparently ISU's PG is leaving the team. I have heard that he does not get a long with Osiris and will no longer play. No wonder he'd never pass the ball to O and Osiris looked so lifeless with him out there.

It's just round 1, they will meet again in a month, and quite often a week after that in the ACC tourney. I try to keep it in perspective, with march madness right around the corner, but it's always a bit nerve racking before the matchup. Hopefully Danny, and Tyler can complete their 4 year sweep in front of the "crazies" tonight.

Lou, lol, well he was our starting point guard. Seems to explain the way they have played these last couple games. Apparently the team is very clique-y and are not getting along well at the moment. Shame to see us lose such a talented team due to chemistry issues. I don't put much into chemistry but in basketball it can really help or hurt you. I remember seeing Jank yelling at him because he wouldn't give the ball to Osiris.

Yeah it couldn't be that they started hot against one of the worst out of conference schedules in recent memory, then played well at times against the worst version talent and depthwise of the Missouri Valley Conference this decade. No, they were just a great team that eventually fell victim to poor chemistry. Stuff like that happens all the time.

What about when they lost to Indiana State the first time? Bradley? Wichita State? Or are you categorizing those as "chemistry-based" losses?

 

Maybe oh maybe, they just arent as good as you painted them to be repeatedly on this site. BTW Creighton isnt really a win to hang your hat on.
