Thank you for helping with the 2005 World Series Juan! I'll admit I usually didn't like Uribe playing, but when he was hot, he was hot. Good luck!

He was frustrating at times, but he brought a hell of a lot of good stuff to the table as well. Thank you for your services, Juan; all the best in San Francisco.

Good luck Juan, I wish the Sox could have brought you back at this price.

37 cents off for Chris Getz and Jayson Nix instead is nothing to sneeze at. Getz and Nix, combined! I can't friggin wait... Next Sox game I go to my eyes will never leave second base regardless of where the ball is or what is happening in the game because thats where the magic will be.

Uribe was always a fun player to watch one way or another. The last 2 outs in '05 were unreal.

Probably my least favorite Sox player of all time, which is saying a lot.

Juanito, andate a la mierda, pendejo.

I'll miss Juan. For as frustrating as he was at the plate a lot...he played stellar defense (especially out of position at 3B this past year). Always seemed like a great clubhouse guy and teammates seemed to love him. Personality-wise...he was the Anti-OC. I'll always love Juan for all the things he brought to this team. Wish nothing but the best for him.

I will miss his "Jazz hands" homerun swing.

An overweight guy with no mechanics at the plate-just hacking away. Yes I will miss that and the unpredictability he brought. It was fun to watch

GMAB, how do we know what the hell Uribe's attitude was? The guy didn't speak English and rarely gave interviews.

Juan speaks english, just not very well and he gave more than his fair share of post game interviews and even attempted to talk with some of the local sports radio shows from time to time. He has a very high pitched voice for a man his size.

He is one of the only ones I need for the complete starting roster. He's never been to Soxfest (big surprise) did you meet him or ebay?

My bro got it on Ebay for me for Christmas that year.

Juan Uribe had a better White Sox career than Joe Crede.

It's true, but most will never admit it because Crede had about 3/4 of a great year, from right before the World Series through about the halfway point of the following season.

what did you learn about his attitude?

I'll take a healthy Joe Crede over Juanito any day, on offense and defense.

what did you learn about his attitude?

He was always very humble and thankful to the White Sox organization, always promised to try and get better. I heard a few of his interviews on the Score(one that Mully played from the first ST he spent with the Sox, the other interview was something Rongey did IIRC), and he couldnt stop thanking the White Sox organization.

I have yet to read anything detrimental about his attitude, and that stuff usually gets out much quicker than the good things

I don't know, he always came off as a decent enough guy, never caused any problems, always appeared to be trying hard, everyone seemed to like him. I just take offense to you claiming he doesn't speak english or talk to the media because neither is at all true.

Juan seemed like a good guy to me. Motivational problems perhaps.

I'd also love a healthy Rocco Baldelli, Milton Bradley, Pedro Martinez or Ben Sheets. It's just not possible.

I'm not sure I'd love a healthy Milton Bradley. I feel like he'd be less likely to hurt me if he was unable to catch me due to an injury.

God bless him.

Thanks for everything in 2005, Juany.

What does "andate" mean? I know what the rest means.
