lets go number 42!

:lolhitting

Great to see Contreras man up right there. Excellent.

Fantastic work.

I still can't believe Jose and Bartolo are pitching as well as they are this soon.

In the newspaper, they said Getz was supposed to be ready to go today...guess not.

Ozzie usually has a policy of not playing a guy until a day after he is ready to play. He'll be in the lineup at the trop.

If there is a downgrade from Dewayne Wise leading off, it would be Brent Lillibridge. Its almost like Ozzie likes to start out with a disadvantage.

I was thinking the same thing.

Watch Jose pull a rabbit out of his for his next trick!

:headbang

That was HUGE. Now build on the momentum and put some runs on the board.

i got to grab lunch. there is two on, no one out. i come back no score! nice jose!

I'd have no problem giving Betemit the start at 3B today. We're going to need offense with Contreras on the mound today, that's pretty much guaranteed.

Josh Fields says hello.

God I hate that hot dog vendor

Q is pulling his head out on those sinkers.

But who in God's name would we be starting today at leadoff?

Anderson against a RHP?

Ramirez, when he's struggling mightily?

Fields?

95% of the time, Fields would be 2/2 right now...

The hot dog vendor at USCF that screams "hot dogs" every 2 seconds is worse.

We need to see ALOT more pitches. Need to get into that pen.

There's no good option til Getz returns. But honestly, anyone is better than Brent

LOL, DJ just challenged Farmer to a fight. My money is on the old man.

What are they fighting over?

How in the f*** is that a strike?

I just wish we had an offensively competent utility player. Looking at what Lillibridge did in his brief stint in the majors last year is just scary, I don't think he knows what kind of hitter he is. Low contact, high FB%, almost non-existent LD% and his K rate was dreadful at both levels, he has the peripherals of a power hitter but the body and ability of a slap hitter.

Longggg day for the hitters, gonna be a intense game

Gerald Laird tips pitches. He has trouble giving the "3" sign and has to bend his elbow a certain way to do it.

If baseball favors lefthanders or not...

345 goes down 123
