I'm going to guess he's changed his stance too much, he's concentrating too much on going to the opposite field (as a 2 hitter) and he's trying to emulate Quentin with the crouch.

The thing is, having 20/20 vision and a healthy knee doesn't always guarantee hitting fastballs, but it should help somehow.

491 OPS for Ramirez, 447 for Lillibridge. The race to 500 continues.

Not sure, but his mechanics have definitely changed. He started trying that inside-out swing earlier in the year, and it's really slowed his bat down.

When they put him in the 2 hole they probably told him his job was to get he guy over. He is not a major league hitter (yet / maybe) and really is unable to adjust to the pitcher.

That is why I think they need to begin lookingat Greg Walker. There are no adjustments made to a pitcher.

Here's where you just need to look at the back of the baseball card.

(Actually, with Lillibridge, that's pretty accurate.)

Look at the back of KW's "GM card" since the end of last season.

Flowers better be great, and able to stay at catcher at the big league level.

Should be start to focus what we could possibly get for Dye at the deadline?!?

Sure, but the bigger prize is Bobby Jenks. This team seems to be a few years from competing in the AL Central, as the Tigers and Royals seem to be in a good position to have solid squads (along with Twins, of course) over the next 2 years.

Cleveland has been playing bad but the hitless wonders come to town and cures what problems the tribe has been having..........@(*&%

Indians hadn't scored a first inning run in approximately 2 weeks before tonight.

Aside from Flowers, how are the other guys from the Javy trade doing?

KW told us we would like the way Lillibridge plays.

They oughta see if they can lock up Windmill Ramirez long term. It is working for Floyd pretty well.

You still only move Jenks for a King's ransom. He's getting more expensive yes, but the economy may well hold arbitration totals down, and he's probably going to be a guy that we can get draft picks for if he walks some day.

JD, Thome, possibly Dotel...we're not going to get picks for them if they depart at the end of the year...so it makes sense to just save the money if we can.
