Then count me out. I hate good film.

i love lamp

"Brothers" was not very good. I'm wondering why the producers felt it was a good idea to include every key moment in the trailer. There was really nothing else to it if you already saw that.

That's exactly why I didn't want to see it but unfortunately the other 2 movies I'd rather have seen, The Road and Up in the Sky, were sold out when we arrived. We were redeeming AMC passes so I couldn't reserve tickets.

I saw The Road yesterday. It was pretty damn good, but I don't know...I felt like it was sort of a letdown. I think that's because it has been built up so much for me, especially on this site.

Really? I expect it to be a big disappointment because all of the book fans seem to think it will be.

I hope this is as good as the trailer makes it look like it could be. I actually have a couple of yellowed and crumbling 1930s pulps with Solomon Kane stories in them. I always saw the character as a sort of prototype for Mike Grell's Warlord and Starslayer characters — probably because they share similarities in their anachronism.

It has been a while since a movie like that was worthwhile, I hope Solomon Kane is just that. The trailer does look pretty fun, very Conan-ish.

Anybody excited for Avatar? The trailer looks decent, Im hoping its good though.

It reminds me of a space verson of Dances With Wolves - with bad CGI.

No I am not excited about Avatar at all. I already saw that movie with my daughter a year and a half ago. It was called Battle for Terra

It looks to me like 2 hours of a video game. I think as a film, it will be terrible. But it will look and sound cool.

I'm excited for Shutter Island

I've been seeing the trailer for that for, what seems like, a year.

anyone see the teaser trailer for The Last Airbender? I am interested to see if Shyamalan can pull it off, I wonder if he can do anything with material that is not his own.

I'm waiting to see how well/poorly they pull off a CGI (I assume) Appa. My kids are huge fans of the series and I think it's pretty well made, so I'm sure we'll see this. The kids were actually upset when they started seeing the ads for Cameron's Avatar because theu thought it was goiung to be this film and now they have to wait 9 more months.

They are delaying the release of the actual trailer because they dont want the movies to be confused with each other, even though the Avatar portion of the title has been dropped. The first actual trailer is supposed to drop around february

Anyone plan on seeing Collapse?

Tex is going this weekend. He already booked a hotel.

I see the animated broomsticks have survived the re-imagining. Hopefully they can sneak in the Paul Dukas symphonic music as well as some of Goethe's original story elements.
