Since 1/1/2009 there is no reason to watch ESPN for baseball. The products are not even comparable. The talent on the MLBN is light years ahead of ESPN. Is Fernando Vina still hanging in there?

I'm not sure if he's there or not anymore, but Brett Boone is on there now, and in case you forgot, or if you ever forget, he hit a game 7 home run in the '03 ALCS against the Red Sox when with the NYY, they mention it basically every time they introduce him

Do you mean Aaron Boone?

The Twins may have their first rained out home game in almost 30 years tomorrow night.

Well, he certainly hits like a pitcher.

lol, I do! Guess I need to watch more ESPN to be reminded!

Jack Cust was DFA'd by the A's. Needless to say he's not happy about it. In his comments after he offered a pretty accurate look at the current state of the A's. “The fact is, this team has no power and they’ve just released a guy who (averaged 28 homers) the last three years. That’s amazing." I wouldn't mind if the Sox brought him in . They won't though.

Curt Shilling on Baseball Tonight....wow does ESPN become even more unwatchable.

Ouch @ schilling on baseball tonight, good thing I don't watch it (cept for all-star nominations !)

Why is the first series at Fenway? Shouldn't the previous World Series champion have the first series at home?

Thats what I was wondering, but I like how when they showed Beckett warming up, it said "Dustin Pedroia, 2008 MVP"

First pitch of the season, Jeter swings, grounds out, Yanke fans hate him......I keed

So Joe Morgan seriously just compared CC Sabathia to Sandy Koufax and Josh Beckett to Juan Marichal. Holy hyperbole.

Joe Morgan probably would compare himself to Mantle.

Granderson hitting 7th. That's just not right.

And Jorge Posada with the first tater for 2010.

You really think Morgan would compare himself to a white player?

And his first AB as a Yankee results in a HR. Terrible pitch by Beckett; grooved that fastball.

Granderson hitting a HR in his 1st at-bat is better than him going 0 for 10.

Brilliant, Joe.

LeBron and Dr Dre in the house.
