He either wants the long term deal, or a one year deal. If he can't get a long term deal, he seems to like to get his guys back to FA ASAP.

February 17, 201016 yr I actually feel pretty optimistic about Damon signing with the Sox. I think his wife is a huge factor in this, and she has no interest in spending 6 months in Detroit. Maybe he'll take four million, win a championship, and be a free agent again in nine months. Come on, Johnny. Do it!
