Hopefully that means a deadline is in place now.

Having Kotsay and Damon's wives both in the stands makes me wish we held on to Scotty Pods so atleast we could win the hot-baseball-wives competition.

 

I wonder if Damon's wife punched Schilling's wife in the face? That would make her even hotter...

If Damon doesn't pick a team by Saturday I'll be very surprised...and kinda pissed.

Its disappointing because last night there was such a surge of momentum i was hoping it just finished it off, the longer it cools, the longer it favors the better money deal, I feel.

It doesn't sound like KW's MO to count his chickens before they hatch. He's not gonna set up a press conference if the man isn't signed and they're still expecting to land him.

Yeah, unfortunately I think that is about the worse thing KW could say. It's like he's saying that he will tell us why they couldn't sign him come Sunday when they report.

Given that Sunday is the day that pitchers and catchers report, it seems likely that the press conference was scheduled some time ago and has little or nothing to do with Damon. That seems to suggest that either Kenny expects nothing to happen by then, or that he's given up on Damon.
