I saw Brothers the other night.

 

Thought it was a good film, good performances by Maguire and Portman especially. The ending absolutely ruined it though I thought.

Law Abiding Citizen - great movie.

 

District 9 - Not what I was expecting, but I still kinda liked it.

 

Finally got around to seeing the Boondock Saints. Loved it.

 

I'm gonna try and watch more movies I've overlooked. Donnie Darko is next.

I watched Law Abiding Citizen last night. It was a good movie, but I hated the ending. Kinda of ruined for me.

Hot Tub Time Machine was great, thought it was hilarious..

The new Tyler Perry "Why did I get Married Too" was horrible.

 

 

You know, I've never seen any of his films, but he gets mad props from me for doing all of his stuff completely outside of the studio system. Content aside, he's a picture of how to build an independent empire. Kudos.

It's a love/hate thing with him. Some people I know like his work, some hate it. Personally, I like some of his films, but his T.V. shows are horrible.

I watched The King of Comedy today. One of the best films I've ever seen. Also saw A Pistol for Ringo. Pretty good spaghetti western if you're into that.

I thought it was a cool movie, but the ending was bad.

Finally got around to watching Shutter Island. Good movie, but as some said earlier in this thread I had it about figured out within the first 15 minutes.

A couple sites have it near confirmation that Joss Whedon is going to direct (and rewrite) The Avengers movie. This might just be the greatest piece of news ever invented by man.

Body of Lies, very solid movie. Enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward to watching Defiance tomorrow.
