I wouldn't say I was a fan. He's swinging for the fences, which is not what he does. When he was effective, he has a short swing and a quick bat with all the power being generated through bat speed. 2008 CQ would have hit that 1st pitch a mile, today he fouled it back. I'm not concerned about it yet though.

 

Exactly. When Q is on, his power goes to right center. In 2008 he was excellent at letting the ball get deep into the zone and driving it without having to artificially apply power. Hopefully he gets it going soon.
