Talk about rocking the boat. Ozzie gives Jenks the vote of confidence on Wednesday and the interim manager goes to Putz in the very next save opportunity.

ozzie needs to take notes....idk if he's looked at jenks numbers so far but how much longer is he going to run him out there for?

I love this swinging away by Cora tonight!

Why isn't Vizquel bunting him over??

At least he's not bunting.

That's not going to get it done.

Good job Omar!

This is where Beckham comes up huge, book it.

I really like how the bunt was off though. I want to see more of that.

how can he not get him to 3rd

Omar's been a ground ball machine all season...until that AB.

I could have sworn Vizquel was brought in here for his bunting. I don't think Ozzie or Cora know that Vizquel is basically done as a hitter. I like the no bunt though... just not for Omar.

I don't. Vizquel is hardly the offensive threat. He should at least make his automatic out productive.

Think line drive to right, Gordon

not me - that's a bunt situation if there ever was one

Yep. That was the obvious bunting situation in the world.

I agree that Vizquel is better off bunting, i like the idea of letting hitters hit though.

Wow, he is bailing at the plate again. Not going to hit the ball when your entire body is moving towards 3rd base.

Yes, but if you're going to let Castro bat after Vizquel, might as well hope he can 1st and 3rd it.

I'm fine with letting hitters hit in bunting situations but only when they're semi-competent at the plate. When we have the equivalent of a pitcher up there I prefer the bunt.

I love the idea of Putz as the new closer.

I don't like it if there's 3 lefties coming up in the next 4 hitters.

Common Gordon!

I can't believe everyone is so down on Jenks. He only has one blown save all season. There's much bigger problems with this club than Bobby.

Please tell me this is sarcasm

Thank you GORDO!
