The good news is that Garcia will not get to face the Twins next week. I really hate how we had our worst pitcher going in the first game of the series, but just like everything else, Ozzie's the one in the spotlight now. I'm happy to hear a lot of people in the media starting to ask questions about his lineup decisions and style of play.

Like any of that will make a difference. Look he dropped Quentin and he responded!

Alright, that's enough for me. I'm out. Can't wait to go to the rainy game tomorrow and watch this team get slaughtered.

This Twins lineup is just ridiculous basically since the start of the 2nd half of the season. Not an easy out in their lineup.

At least 3 times this year he's saved us with solid 3+ inning appearances.

 

 

And at least 10 times he has come in and put the game out of reach like tonight.

 

3 times out of the whole year, please.

Pena's done a good job as an innings eater out of the pen this year in a role he was never, ever supposed to have. There's a big difference between being a good pitcher, and doing a good job in your designated role.

Pena's done a good job as an innings eater out of the pen this year in a role he was never, ever supposed to have. There's a big difference between being a good pitcher, and doing a good job in your designated role.

Of course, part of the reason why he wound up in that role is that he wasn't all that great at the short relief role.

This level of offensive production would have swept the Orioles.

Let's not forget how B Jenks helped jump start their run by blowing the save in the finale of that 4 game series...thanks alot fat boy.

 

They swung the bats pretty good the first three games of that series as well, but there's no denying that the Jenks game can be pointed to as the turning point of the season if the Twins win the division.

I didn't say we're a terrible team on the road...rather, we've turned into an amazing home team. The quality of our at bats at home is fantastic.
