September 3, 201015 yr At first thought I was thinking Becks but I think I would have to go with Kenny Williams. I would love to do what he does and be who he is. Power, money, power, and less hassle when it comes to being in the public. He has rule over super stars. And I know its juvenile but my favorite part of playing MLB video games is managing rosters, I don't even care about playing the games. He is just really cool IMHO and has one of the coolest and interesting jobs a person could have.
September 3, 201015 yr Rick Hahn. It's like having Kenny's job, but I wouldn't have to be blamed for things. Plus, I could see what goes on in Kenny's thought processes.
September 3, 201015 yr Author QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 11:26 PM) Mark Salas. Ballgame. Oooooohhhhhhh yeah....I forget about him........who the hell is he?
September 3, 201015 yr AJ because in my short baseball experience I caught and would love to be a catcher... plus I also have a bit of a d-bag style sense of humor I'd love to put on the field sometimes as well.
September 3, 201015 yr QUOTE (IceCreamPants @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 11:30 PM) Oooooohhhhhhh yeah....I forget about him........who the hell is he? The American Man Soo Lee.
September 3, 201015 yr Author QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 11:32 PM) The American Man Soo Lee. Oh yes, one of the finer chefs in Asian cuisine that I have ever seen.
September 3, 201015 yr 1.) Reinsdorf. I'd sell the team and have all that money. 2.) Kotsay. Didn't you all say he has the most gorgeous wife on the team? 3.) Paulie. It'd be fun to hit all those home runs.
September 3, 201015 yr QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Sep 2, 2010 -> 11:56 PM) I'd be curious to see where you'd go with that, lol. The Sox should allow members of Soxtalk to switch off broadcasting games. That'd be fun.
September 3, 201015 yr QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 12:34 AM) 1.) Reinsdorf. I'd sell the team and have all that money. 2.) Kotsay. Didn't you all say he has the most gorgeous wife on the team? 3.) Paulie. It'd be fun to hit all those home runs. I figured you'd pick Manny.
September 3, 201015 yr QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 12:01 AM) I figured you'd pick Manny. Bobby. Fixed.
September 3, 201015 yr QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 01:18 AM) greg walker just so that I never have to worry about losing my job Ozzie might have the best job security in baseball as absolutely crazy as that is.
September 3, 201015 yr I thought Greg would pick Ozzie Guillen. Actually, when I was in grad school, it would have been Kenny Williams. Since then, I would prefer Director of Community Relations (Christine O'Reilly) since you can really see all the good that professional athletes can do "behind the scenes" to help, everything from "Make A Wish" type hospital visits to kids with terminal illnesses to more substantive projects like the Pepsi Community/Block grant one that all the MLB teams applied to win the funds for. You really see the best and worst of professional athletes in this area...fortunately, even in this day and time, MOST are very gracious and generous with their time. I know this is one area that JR really is proud of, compared to other franchises. Being Brooks Boyer would also be a HUGE challenge and interesting, although that job would probably have a lot less job security than Director of Comm. Relations.
September 3, 201015 yr How can anyone not pick Reinsdorf or Eddie Einhorn? You would be the freaking owner!! I'd go all Steinbrenner on everybody and build a juggernaut.
September 3, 201015 yr QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Sep 3, 2010 -> 08:49 AM) How can anyone not pick Reinsdorf or Eddie Einhorn? You would be the freaking owner!! I'd go all Steinbrenner on everybody and build a juggernaut. And then you'd go all tribune company and file for bankruptcy.
