It's pretty much a 2 horse race for MVP between Howard and Rose. I would say if the Bulls win against Boston comming up in early April, that should seal it for Rose. Howard has the better numbers. Rose has the better team record.

I think they are the favorites, but this team still hasn't won in the playoffs, so that gives me pause. I am not sure how much prior playoff experience helps in the current playoffs, but I do worry that we aren't the most playoff-experienced.

I can kind of agree on that, they play like the ultimate college team, but I hate the sloppiness of college basketball. Nobody can shoot or plays any defense in college.
