Tyrus was hitting jumpers all over that series, wasn't he?

He hit one pretty big one and had one or two good games. Otherwise, eh, not really.

That big jumper he hit was almost a 3. When he shot it, I was literally yelling "WTF?"

Good thing it went in. Boozer's been good in the playoffs in his career, so having him there will make a very big difference.

Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich and John Salmons were still on that team too, way better supporting guards than they have now. In other words, it's a completely different series.

That group also had a horrible time trying to defend Ray Allen. Hinrich's a good defender, but the other two, especially Gordon, weren't exactly stellar.

I think it's clear that this Bulls team is much better than that one. The Bulls most likely won't play Boston until the second round anyways. I just hope we don't end up playing NY. I'd much rather play the Hawks or whoever ends up being the 7th seed.

Bogans and Korver aren't exactly great defenders either, and Brewer is generally considered to be better matching up against 3's.

Gordon averaged 24 PPG that series and Salmons averaged 18. Those two had a pretty big impact on the series regardless of what they did in the regular season. Obviously Boozer and Deng make a difference, but it's not the same as Boston just adding Garnett to the group they already had in that series.

You really can't draw any conclusions at all from what happened in that series.

In the first couple games yeah, but then of course he went to the bench as punishment.

Well, you can come up with 1 conclusion. Rondo couldn't guard Rose. Still can't. Rose couldn't guard Rondo. If Rose still can't guard Rondo, the series will go the same way.

The Bulls absolutely have to do something about this SG spot before the end of the year, and I think they know that. Between Johnson being totally buried on the bench and having an extra pick from Charlotte, I have to think something happens. It wouldn't be a "Contracting VDN" level mistake if they didn't, but it'd be a pretty obvious one.

My wife told me I needed to take a champagne sip every time Rose did something impressive. Rose stole a ball before she finished the sentence. He missed the layup after blowing past 2 people on a crazy move. The Cavs took the ball up the other way. Rose then stole the ball again. And maneuvered around a couple guys for the basket. I don't have a big enough bottle.

Byron Scott has to be thinking, "WHat the hell have I gotten myself into?"

There is a reason I wanted Mike Miller badly after the Big Three signed.

If he were our SG instead of being in Miami, we'd be best in the East.

Think this is the first decent game he's had since he's been back.

Good god, this is Cleveland, WAKE UP!

Good Lord Cleveland is bad. The Bulls really didn't appear to be trying at any point tonight until the very late run that put the game away.

or "hey I'm making several million dollars to do this and will probably get fired AND paid before my contract is up"

I think of this every time I see the Cavs play. Byron must hate LeBron more than the average person does.

Bulls are good.

Makes Bears' loss easier knowing we have Rose and Noah on the other side of town.

The Bulls are the only team in the NBA still undefeated within their division at 9-0.

They also have the 3rd best home record in the NBA (behind SA and BOS) at 20-4.

I did not realize the Bulls were only a game back of the Heat and 3 1/2 from first. That is pretty damn impressive considering the time Boozer/Noah have missed. Still think we need a trade whether its the blockbuster in Carmelo or OJ Mayo. If the Bulls do bring in Carmelo or a legit SG I think you have to give them consideration for being a contender.

The Bulls also have the worst division in the NBA.

Thank you for saying it so I didn't have to :P

I think Skiles has set a personal best for losing a team.

Injuries kinda matter, especially if they happen to your best player... even if he is flawed.

You mean sports. It's simply really really weak. With that said, I think the Bulls are a legit 3 seed and #2 once Boston breaks up. They desperately need a SG who can also be a secondary ballhandler for when teams deny Derrick the ball. I really believe OJ is that guy.

The NFC West is laughing at you.

Ya, the central is bad but at least it has 1 really good team in the Bulls. The NFC West is just plain garbage.
