OK, but then how did he know about the marital problems and the drinking problems and the self diagnosis fantom injury? You don't really believe Oney is being straight when saying he doesn't discuss any White Sox stuff with Ozzie do you? Its not like Ozzie has ever been known to keep secrets. KW doesn't even discuss what he's working on with him anymore because Ozzie eventually leaks it. That said, I think everything will be fine if Ozzie steps up and gets Oney out of the picture once and for all.

I dont think any of this has to do with Ozzie "leaking" information. Oney has been friends with Bobby for 5 years socially and knows and speaks with alot of the players. He knows this stuff first hand, not "over the dinner table" like people seem to think.

A potential deadline free agent (with a NTC) weighing his options might not know those specifics and just assume a lot of this is on Ozzie.

Players actually really like Ozzie for the most part, and if Oney Guillen's twitter account is your #1 reason keeping you from moving to a contending team at the deadline, you probably suck anyway.

I don't see how you could say that. This poll indicates quite clearly that there are quite a few players out there that would never want to play for an Ozzie led club.

Players arent message board hounds that read everything and care about everything on the internet. I think you have them mistaken with fans. I know a player that hasnt picked up a news paper in over 5 years. They dont care as much as you think they do.

Oney is an embarrassment, a moron. There is absolutely nothing to be gained by going public with his "stories" about Jenks and defending... daddy.

 

And I'm also more than sick of people dissing Bobby Jenks--we would not have won the WS in 2005 if it were not for that guy. He gave us years of quality pitching--Jesus H. F***ing Christ... he has one bad year and the knives come out. That's Cub fan s***.

 

As for people defending Oney because he's defending daddy--whatever. Oney is a f**ing moron and a liability. If you want to have the first half soap opera of 2010 all over again in 2011, even with our dream team in place, just keep making excuses for Oney. Because that is exactly what is going to happen.

 

He's not a player, a manager or somebody with any kind of worthwhile perspective. He's a loser. A parasite. The sooner we don't have to hear from him, the better.
