If we had to start over with one of Kenny or Ozzie, who would you kick?

 

I say Ozzie, due to Oney, his refusal to acknowledge statistics, his love of scrappy grinders, the awful manner in which he handles young players (Anderson, Morel, Tracey, Dayan, Lillibridge, etc.), his belief that all starters go 7 IP and 200 Innings by default and his LOVE of using that one guy in the bullpen (Pena, Williams).

I really just want to hear Greg's rationale on this, as he believes the opposite.

Ozzie is a rather horrible manager in my opinion, but some blame has to be levied on KW for allowing Ozzie's charade to go on as long as it has.

Ozzie, and it's not even close in my opinion. KW hasn't made the best trades, but Ozzie can't manage the players that he's given. His handling of the pitching staff is horrendous, I'm sick of seeing this team play like a scrappy NL team, and if I see Alex Rios in the lineup again I'm going to vomit. More than anything, I'm just sick of him and his family. I'm just baffled that he still has a job with the way he butts heads with KW.

KW has messed up but also done some good. He builds an impressive roster but necessarily an impressive TEAM. Ozzie is simply a disgrace to the organization and by extensiom MLB. Many could give as little as him with more dignity and grace. He is a foul mouthed undisciplined festering disease that will bad mouth the White Sox [again] when he leaves.

Why can't we ever beat AL Central opponents? 3-5 against the Royals? 7-29 against the Twins?

Why does everyone get up to beat the White Sox, be we can't get motivated to face the Royals or Orioles?

Bruce Chen? C'mon. I just turn off the t.v. when I see he's facing us.

Mark Teahen is abysmal and sucks as a player.

Juan Pierre is the 3rd best hitter on the White Sox.

This team is the most frustrating White Sox team I've ever watched.

Rios/Dunn/Gordon/Morel can't hit their way out of a dry as Kansas prairie paper bag with the Green Lantern's blowtorch as a bat. (oops, that's me)

Ozzie will win every single NL East crown for 14 consecutive years and become the next Vice President of the U.S. He will take Marco Rubio's Senate seat after he becomes President in 2012 or 2016.

We will miss Ozzie and will never ever compete again in the AL with Joey Cora and fans will be clamoring for Terry Bevington to return.

JUST WIN BABY. Any move that Ozzie makes can never be second guessed if the White Sox win.

Bobby Jenks is the most underappreciated closer in Sox history, at least since Roberto Hernandez.

I can think of a solid 3 or so GM's who are worse than Kenny Williams. I can't think of a single manager worse than Ozzie Guillen right now. There are times watching games where I am tempted to wonder if he's ever seen a baseball game before.

For the Guillen apologists, please list out the reasons why you think that he needs to stay here as the manager of our ball club. I'm trying to objectively come up with reasons why he deserves to stay and I'm struggling to come up with anything other than he's entertaining with the media.

I gotta agree with Little Hurt, here. Ozzie has had a woeful season, though. His mis-management of the outfield and Peavy stand alone.

I'm not sure he's worse, but you make a more than reasonable point. It wouldn't be hard to make the case that the two worst managers in baseball are employed by teams in the same city.
