Translation: "I was looking for a cheap yes man"

Your theory's correct but Jesus Age Christ, when the hell did Robin EVER express any interest in managing? And wouldnt Dave Martinez have come at the same cheap price?

He wanted THE Robin Ventura.

Can he expected to be able to handle a bullpen? Or, does Cooper get a lot of control?

I would assume Martinez would as well.

Does Ventura have any credentials at all other than playing 3B for the White Sox?

His bench coach will be interesting. I am guessing Buddy Bell.

He's got as much of a motivating personality as Harold Baines and similar experience managing as Dan Pasqua.

This. Kenny's new hand puppet. Jesus Christ I wish they would have just cleaned house!

f*** you Kenny! and f*** you Jerry!

He was one of my favorite players.

This screams of ownership micro-managing more than anything. How is Robin qualified to do this.

Honestly, what qualifications do you really need to be a baseball manager? This isn't the NFL or NBA.
