So, my wife's grandpa died this morning (we'd been expecting it). But, now my wife wants to drive from Chicago to Iowa tonight... yea, during the blizzard. This isnt going to end well for me. Either she forces me to drive tonight, or she's pissed that I make her wait until tomorrow.

 

EDIT: My wife's mom talked her out of coming home tonight. So, we are headed to Iowa tomorrow. He died a day before the Mayans could get to him. Well played Vernon, well played.

City of Madison is basically shut down. Power already went out and came back. If it gets worse I can't imagine the power will stay on. But we are working from home so it isn't so bad.

Granted, she descibes that life as "exciting," but she attributes her actions to depression caused in part by her brother's suicide:

 

"'I do not expect people to understand, but the reasons for doing this made sense to me at the time and were very much related to depression,' Hamilton tweeted Thursday.
