Rock of Ages looks like it could be the worst movie ever made.

Dammit.

Now I will make myself go see it as punishment.

and then the ones above. Some stinkers, some gems. Just like the film industry in general.

Really, really awesome.

Indeed. We also play "baseball" while watching it.

There really isn't a good one in that list IMO, and he wasn't in all of those (at least not as a main character). The only one he was the lead in that was decent was 50 First Dates, and that was him being a normal goof, not some over the top weirdo.

Mr Deeds and Anger Management were both pretty good

Wow really? Alot of those are good. Grandma's boy is one of the more underrated comedies around. That is specifically films he put out, and there have been some hits in there since 2000.

Click is one of my favorite movies. I've probably watched it over a dozen times.

I also liked Sandler's version of The Longest Yard. I've seen very little of the original.

Just Go With It wasn't too bad. The other 3 look unwatchable.

He also didn't even act in a handful of those movies you listed.

Like I said above, those are the movies he put out, he wasnt in all of them.

I don't really care how many stars an Adam Sadler movie gets, can't imagine happy Gilmore or billy Madison were highly rated. Jack and Jill looked dumb but this one looks entertaining and I'll prob go see it.

Man, what an awful list of movies. And he wasn't even in a lot of them. Grandma's Boy is a classic. Absolutely loved Funny People too, but that movie seemed rather polarizing.

I think most would include Mr. Deeds and I'd include 50 first dates/The Longest Yards as all enjoyable movies. Sandler does miss big sometimes like Jack and Jill and none of his movies are going to be loved by critics but overall more than not it will be an enjoyable movie.

Also, I REALLY liked Grown Ups.

as u can tell by my avatar...Grandma's Boy!!!! Classic!

I actually thought Just Go With It was pretty funny too. And Brooklyn Decker and Jennifer Aniston in bikinis half the time was pretty awesome too. Dave Mathews was pretty funny in his small role, the coconut kiss competition was really funny.

Anger Management and Click were alright too, but basically I agree with you.

Adam Sandler's schtick at this point has just gotten incredibly old and I usually don't find him all that funny anymore

Edit: Agree with Joe, Grown Ups made me laugh.

And Grandma's Boy was hilarious but I was referring to movies he was actually in

Edited by ChiSox_Sonix

Anger Management could have been good, but it was awful. It was just weird and illogical. The only thing good about Click was Kate Beckinsale.

Punch Drunk Love.
