Hearing TankS is killing me.

That's typically the way pitchers always go after Uribe and Ramirez with 2 strikes as well.

Arietta wasn't paying attention to him so he went on first movement and forced a bad throw. Solid running.

These guys are fouling off a lot of pitches so far.

You can cancel the post game show, with a hit to RF by Chris Davis.

Good job of hitting there by Davis, that was an inside corner strike that he got around on for a single. That pitch would put a lot of guys away.

Overall, you'd absolutely have to take Verlander/Scherzer/Porcello and a healthy Fister, but they definitely have some issues at the back of their rotation for the time being.

There's a lot of talent sitting in their 5/6 starter spot though...hard to know what that will mean long term of course, but they've got the kids to fill the role.

 

Of course, if Porcello throws the whole year like he did yesterday, the 5th starter spot isn't going to cost them too much.
