Back to back!

Well, this is a good way to fight back against the Paulie thing.

Two homers in a row!

Nice.

Is the wind blowing out as it is in KC today?

Big wind gusts here.

Pierzynski!

With all we've gone through in CF it seems like Young would have been nice...but the other half of that story is it pushed McCarthy into the bullpen and they wound up trading him rather than giving him a starting spot.

So basically, without that trade, we never get Danks, and McCarthy goes through those couple injury riddled years with us rather than Texas.

TANK!

Seems like it was a fair trade, I'd say.

4 runs in three innings off Dempster...awesome start.

Dayan > Quentin

I hope every home run the Sox hit at Wrigley lands in that damn basket. Dissappointed with A.J.'s :D

Cmon Danksy, get through the back 1/3 of this order quickly.

THROW IT BACK AND WE'LL JUST GIVE YOU ANOTHER F***ING BALL!

I liked that one.

It seems to me Young is the type of player you'd hope Rios would be.

Young is a stud.

Dayan > Quentin

Haven't even thought of him this year. Not once.

DAYAN! That was a Wrigley homer right there.

Without a doubt. Still a strong kid though.

That's because he's still rehabbing... :lolhitting

Not in the least. Young is the kind of player you're disappointed if a player becomes, because he has all the talent in the world but can't learn how to hit any way other than "Swing hard in case you hit something".

2 very quick flyball outs here to start the 3rd.

Even Viciedo's, lol?

Nice running catch by DeAza

He's had quite the roller coaster of a career thus far.

C'mon John, don't let the pitcher hurt you.

Nice running catch by DeAza, then another flyout to Rios...2 more quick outs for Danks.

Exactly. Of course we're happy that he does hit things, but he didn't by any means maximize his talent.

IIRC, he at least is a good CF defensively

Supposedly he tweaked his swing this offseason and came out of the gate like gangbusters hitting .400+. Then he got injured and missed 3 weeks, so who know if he will keep it up.

Oh definitely. It was a good swing and just kept carrying.
