greg775
Good win. Hopefully this signals the start of winning some series at home during the upcoming summer months. The Tank is mighty likeable. Nice HR. He's gonna have a lot of at bats this season, health permitting, since he doesn't walk much. Rios with a good game. Paulie is so good it's scary. sunofgold
Offense was great tonight. Pitching wasn't. But heck it is kinda nice to win a slugfest. Offense is working.

hogan873
I thought Hawk was going to have a stroke after De Aza's grand slam. And how did he call Rios' double a homerun? It was pretty obvious that the ball hit the wall. He was halfway through "booooaaaarrrrrdddd" before he realized the ball was bouncing around in the field. The wind usually is doing the opposite at the lower levels because of the swirling action.

sunofgold
Guess what? King Kong will be the last player to wear #14 for the White Sox. And I think he is going to hit .400 this year which means we will be hearing a lot of Ted Williams story from the Hawk. Amazing for a guy who really isn't going to get too many infield hits. Amazing for a guy who really isn't going to get too many infield hits. honest question, because I have no idea: did Ted Williams get a lot of infield hits? I was under the impression that he was a line drive machine

Best way to judge the wind is by looking at the wind guage in the Sox pen. Last night it was pointed straight out to left while the flags were pointing straight in. I don't know if anyone will ever hit .400 again. But, the way Konerko is playing, I think .350+ is not out of the question. Add to that 30+ HRs and 100+ RBIs, and he should be in the running for MVP. And yes, no one will wear #14 again.
