Gibson, Hinrich both did full shootaround, gametime decisions. Rip obviously out. DRose "most likely out," which means out in Thibs-speak. - KC Johnson

I hope they break it. I really do. Just like I hope to see someone score 100 points in a game some day.

Well, I still hate LeBron, so I don't want him to break it.

100 points...only player who currently has a shot is Durant. And it'd have to multiple overtime with Westbrook and Martin both deferring to him like madness or being injured.

I've scored 104 and 98 with my guy in NBA 2k12. The key is - you have to take every single f***ing shot. And you have to get rid of it quickly too.

I don't see any way it'll ever happen unless some dude takes like 30 foul shots in a game and makes almost all of them. Kobe is going to get as close as anybody will ever get.

how come I suck so bad at NBA2K12?????

A player has scored 60 or more points in a game 62 times in NBA history. Wilt Chamberlain has 32 of those. That is stupid.

Unless the game of basketball changes a lot, it isn't going to happen, especially in this day and age. The other team would take a 24 second violation in every possession sooner than give up a 100 point game.

Probably in a regulation game. What if there's multiple overtimes? You never know. Nobody thought a player could score 81 in the modern era. They'll be some type of LeBron/Durant hybrid in the future that will get us thinking. Evolution is so awesome.

Dump all points into 3 point shooting and some basic low post skills.

Use a lot of picks.

I had a streak of like, 45, 59, 67, 75, 80, 104 in my rookie season and my player only had one elite skill, the threes, with a decent post game.

Hinrich will probably stub his toe on the way out of practice to lunch

I like to pretend there was no NBA before 1980. Thank god I wasn't born in 1955 and forced into thinking players from those times were great.

That's how I started too. Everything into 3's and medium range. Slowly started to add more speed, quickness, ball handling (security and off-hand) and just really refined my offensive game. Then I started working defense (because of steals and rebounds), and then passing (to open up pass fakes and assists for pointsies), and soon you max out every one of your ratings and you just start earning points to increase max levels and abilities.

My dude last year put up 54/6/6/6 SPG/1 BPG, 54% FG, 40% 3PT. Also, like 3 TOs and 3 PFs a game, but I don't care, we went 70-12 and won 16 straight in the postseason. He's at like 62/7.5/6/5 58% FG 43% 3 PT to start the year for me this year, but that's only 7 games (haven't lost yet).

Wilt would still hang today. A lot of those guys were twigs and smaller back then because they didn't have modern medicine and nutrition helping them out. Wilt would roll the NBA right now...and he'd probably f*** it right after that, because he pretty much f***ed anything in site.

DRose said he feels great. As for his return date? "Nobody knows but God."

A lot of guys still would.

Wilt would still be dominate. Gilmore, Gervin, Nate Thurmond.

Yeah, the average player is bigger, stronger, and faster now but those four and many others would still be able to play ball today.

I agree that Wilt would be fine. But other "great" players from those times? I mean, 6'5 Elgin Baylor averaging 19 rebounds a game? lol. The numbers from times are more bloated than Nicki Minaj's ass.

WWDRD?

(uhhh...ask Reggie..?)

He said that you're a hater and the WNBA sucks.

This was more creative when it said "turd" instead of hater *yawn*

Thog: But they make fun women's basketball.

Femputer: What? Did you explain how the women's good fundamentals make up for their inability to dunk?

Ornik: Yes. They still laugh.

Femputer: The men must die.

He's been told to make sure he's in his box tonight for the return. It's for Hinrich though.

Picking a good shooting motion is important too. I'm really good with Durant and Nash.

I've played about a bit more than one season in myPlayer and my guy can score at will in almost every way.
