Feels good to win by 3 runs with 10 hits to their 11, 3 errors to their 0 and 1 base on balls to their 6.

Great win. Lets keep it rolling tomorrow! Nice job by the middle of the order. 3-4-5 all with big homers. Youk/De Aza doing a nice job getting on base and lots of DP's. Floyd, great job battling through it.

Nice job by Floyd.

Good to see the lumber, especially PK.

f*** the Tigers and their 900lb 3&4 combo. This thing ain't ova until Hawk says so.

Very nice win. When the Twins loaded the bases with nobody out in the first, you couldn't help but think bad thoughts. Good job battling by the staff and real nice to see the meat doing big things again. Don't stop now boys. :gosoxretro:

There's no reason we can't sweep this series.

One game at a time..one game at a time.

11 of our remaining 66 games are against the Twins.

That seems like the appropriate pace to get this thing done!

Tons against the Royals, too.

Glad to see the Sox win again. Paulie baby!

I didn't see the game. I need to check mlb for a replay of Paulie's bomb and see how he did it.

Maybe he got a cortisone shot or something.

'3 true outcome' much? Oh, Adam you're so Dunny right now it's unreal. Love ya, big man.

Nice to have Floyd, Crain and Myers instead of a bunch of rooks.

Who did Hawk and Steve say were the three players to lead the league in these three categories before? Ruth, Mantle, and ?

Good to see the offense come through because Gavin was struggling noticeably.

These guys look tired to me, all of them. Plus it was ungodly humid today. It's nice to be home. I hope they all get a massage and a long nights sleep.

I haven't done a lot of research, but I have to believe he already has the record for 3 true outcome totals in a season at 349 set in 2004 (46 homers, 108 BB, 195 K). He's also 2nd on that list with 346 (40 HR, 112 BB, 194 K). I have Thome in 3rd with 345 in 2001 (49 HR, 111 BB, 185 K), Bonds in 4th at 343 (73 HR, 177 BB, 93 K).

Thome also has a 340 in 2003 (47 HR, 111 BB, 182 K).

Without rounding up, using per game averages, and 155 games, Dunn is on pace for 403 3 true outcome plate appearances (47 HR, 122 BB, 234 K).

I found this hilarious for some reason.

Oh, thank God for that!

Only got the result now and I was terrified I was going to go online to see bad news.

I believe Mike Schmidt led the NL one year in all 3 categories

Does not get to take advantage of Detroit's terrible defense.

Why are they tired? I believe you, but that's alarming.
