August 25, 201213 yr QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Aug 24, 2012 -> 10:13 PM) What the hell did I just watch. Craziest ending of the year. You'd think HBPs and wild pitches walk offs would be weird, but we won a sac fly/single. I don't even know how they can score that.
August 25, 201213 yr QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Aug 24, 2012 -> 10:14 PM) I am confused. MLB TV was jumping all over the place, so I got this when I came back: Leave: 7-2 Sox Comeback: 7-6 Sox Jumps: 8-7 Mariners Jumps again: 8-8, two men on. Jumps again: Celebration
August 25, 201213 yr Obviously Peavy's got alot of haters on the team, there's no other way to explain how the team squandered the lead like that
August 25, 201213 yr mlb.tv was terrible for me all night as well. Thankfully, MLB Network showed the end, so I saw it, but I'm still not entirely sure what I saw.
August 25, 201213 yr QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 24, 2012 -> 10:14 PM) And there was much cursing. And then, much rejoicing ^^^This. What was that??
August 25, 201213 yr QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ Aug 24, 2012 -> 10:36 PM) How did they score the last play? Single by PK? Basically, yeah.
August 25, 201213 yr Nightmares of that September game in 2005 they were leading the Royals by 7 or 8 runs....wake up the next morning, they lost and then you're really starting to become convinced they might actually choke away a 15 game lead somehow. Thank God for David Riske and Joe Crede.
August 25, 201213 yr Give credit to the Sox hitters though, as the Mariners closer has great stuff and they were all over him tonight.
