They could find a way to make Frank interesting still, I'd guess. But I would be surprised if he actually does have to quit drinking. Seems...unlikely.

 

I don't see how Jimmy is getting off that boat. The first season he was one of my favorite characters, now he's a selfish prick. Well, he was always a selfish prick, but he used to be a likable selfish prick. Agreed with B>W though, the bodyguard is too awesome of a character to just have disappear from the show. Don't see how he would stay without Jimmy, though.

This show (for me) is all about Frank, Kev and V, Lip, and Sheila. Everyone else is side characters IMO

I complained about Frank, not the show. There is no single character on this show that would ruin it for me if he/she suddenly died.

Anyone watch Top of the Lake? I am halfway through the first episode. Weird show, mainly because of the weird retreat ladies. Can't figure out why the asian girl lives with the hillbillies, when she clearly has a mother in town. Was her dad really given custody, if that even is her birth father? She looks very asian, not mixed.

/Raises hand. I DVR it and watch on Tuesday after work. Had trouble understanding some accents but I'm ok now. I like it enough to watch it. Only 7 episodes.

Jeesh, watching Revolution last night reminded me of just how terrible that show is.

I didnt think the first episode after the break was that bad... didnt see that end coming.

 

That being said, it's is trending too close to the ratings red line. It's only about a point higher than V, Jericho before they were cancelled and is at the same level as Terra Nova. much like those others, I'd guess this isnt a cheap show to produce. It needs a Solid 8+ to stay alive.

That Piven show is on Masterpiece Classic--PBS.

Great finale for Justified last night. Boyd's circumstances set up some interesting possibilities for next season.

I watched this episode last night and didn't see anything to suggest that's what happened. The bodyguard's hands were shown the entire scene, so that would have to be an off-camera surprise. He's either a goner or they're going to stretch it out until next season (he wasn't in the trailer at all for the finale).

 

Also, I agree that the Frank doing a good deed was totally out of character and pretty stupid. In every other similar circumstance he would have grabbed the stolen goods and sneaked away from the house.
